What is #gender neutral toy?
In this blog I will describe only a small part of the world of gender neutrality. Personally, I am very curious whether commerce is already responding to gender neutrality and then with regard to the sale of children's toys. Does it exist yet? And what is #genderneutraal Toys than exactly?
Early 70s
I'm the oldest home, and under me there are two more brothers. When I was a little girl, I used to play with dolls and certainly until I was 14 years old with barbies. My brothers played with cars a lot and played football on the street. By the way, my youngest brother also liked to 'school' to play. My dolls and stuffed animals were the children of the class and we enjoyed our class days in a row. My brother also had playmobil. I remember a firefighter and police car and a lot of different dolls. We could play together for hours. In short, we were quite gender-neutral at that time.
I had two daughters myself. They never played with dolls. However, they played for hours in their own kitchen and sheed them through the room with tricycles. I don't have the idea that they're hindered in their development.
