In some recipes I use mace. But what is mace?

Mace is the seed skirt of the nutmeg. It's around the nutmeg.

I add it in stews, but sometimes I cook a piece of mace with the cauliflower.

It is dried as a powder on sale. But as you can see in the photo. I like the smell and the taste too. #yoorskookstudio
