What is the biggest problem in the world?

Imagine you just had one choice, what is one of the most urgent problems that we absolutely need to put an end to as soon as we can? We all know there are various statistics generated with percentages on what scientists, environmentalists or politicians deem important. And I know this is difficult as there are multiple choices, but choose what in your opinion is the first thing we have to tackle. I will give you a few:

Racism or discrimination
Lack of safety and security
Poverty
War
Climate Change
Something else...

I would choose racism and discrimination. You know why? Because if we solve that first, all the rest would flow much easier. We would be working together without people judging everyone else based on their race, gender or position. The origin of all our problems is the fact that we often don't work together on problems that can be solved easily if we combine forces.

However I am very proud of us humans on the way we handled COVID-19 in most countries. This is the first situation that I experienced in my lifetime where we all took the initiative and finally worked together as a team.

I am looking forward to your answers. Any opinion is welcome!

Selfishness would be my answer, and then in the broadest sense of the word. I'm the best, I need to make more than you, I want more country I'm better than you! F*ck it, we're all who we are, and that's (almost always) good! As long as you leave the other person in their value.
