Ants are nsects, animals that belong to the arthropods with a head and breast piece and an abdomen. And six legs (which makes them not spiders or crustaceans!)
With those six legs they can walk a bit and they can do a great job right through the year!
But in the summer they want more! They want to broaden their horizons, spread their DNA and look for a good partner outside their territory! Because (not scientific): what you get from afar...

Heel leuk om te lezen. Van de week zat heel mijn terras vol en na 2 dagen waren ze allemaal weg.

peerke70 Nee, die waren er nog niet. Ze gooien ze ook gewoon weer af na de bruidsvlucht! En de mannetjes sterven …. het is toch wat!
ik had er toevallig vanochtend ook iets over opgezocht en overwoog er een blog over te schrijven, hahahaha.. Fascinerend eigenlijk he?
