The World Wish Day exists since April 29, 1980. On that day the police fulfilled the wish of a 7 year old boy who wanted to join the police! This was picked up by others and eventually an organization was created for fulfilling the wishes of children with a life-threatening illness. Meanwhile, 48 countries participate.
It will happen to you, at a young age you will be told that you are incurable ill! Death is inevitable for everyone, but also elusive and often frightening. Especially for young children. On World Wish Day wishes of this group of children are fulfilled. Everyone can sign up a child for fulfilling a beautiful wish.
Since 1989, the wishes of children between 3 and 18 years of age with a life-threatening disease have been fulfilled. Many wishes were met with the help of many volunteers with a huge commitment and creativity! Make-a-Wish Netherlands is dependent on donations and donations and there are often actions organised by schools and associations to raise money for Make-a-Wish.
Nothing is great, everything is used to fulfill one last wish! Swimming in the candy, cooking for a real master chef, a heroic parachute jump.
