Eternal life sounds tempting, but only if you don't face any physical obstacles.
Yes, of course that's possible and of course I want that. The way to eternal life is via - or: is - Jesus Christ. Repentance and rebirth are the means. And that rebirth is, say, the start of eternal life. I just read about it in the Bible (in John 3).
