El Yom Teruah o Rosh Hashana es una de las 7 fiestas solemnes del pueblo de Israel. La cual está documentada en el libro de Vayikra que es Levítico 23:23-25. y tambien en el libro de Badmidbar que es Números 29:1-6.


Dentro del Judaísmo esta es la fiesta de hacer sonar el Shofar es una de las festividades con grandes significados profeticos y de mayores expectativas, en esta celebración se conmemora el comienzo del año Judio, y tambien el cumpleaños de Adam Harishon (el primer hombre), este es un día de juicio para toda la creación de Hashem (Dios).


Desde ayer Lunes 06 de Septiembre a las 6:40pm horario Maracaibo Venezuela, comenzo el año nuevo del calendario Judio, se preguntarán porque a esta hora, bueno el calendario hebreo es lunisolar se rige por la luna, el dia comienza al ocultarse el sol.
