Today I would wish again that the fragrance PC or phone existed...
But you probably already smell this smell when you look at the pictures.
I'm talking about the smell of lavender. Also called Lavendula.

Lavender has a distinctive powerful fragrance.
A fragrance that is associated with calmness, soothing.
While photographing the pictures below, I was allowed to sniff up the delicious Lavender scents.

At the slightest touch of the plant, Lavender scent came into my nostrils.
Lavender does not occur naturally in the Netherlands.
You will find the plants in our country in gardens, as an ornamental plant.

Lavender plants are very popular with butterflies and bees, the hummingbird butterfly is very fond of it!
Lavender often needs to be pruned to keep the plant beautiful: when the stems are wood, you are late:
no new shoots will come on wood: your plant will grow bigger and wider.

If you want to keep your plant at its best, prune it to 15cm above the ground in March.
After flowering, in October you can cut out the flowers, but why should you: I also find the faded flowers decorative.
And the faded flowers still smell good.

This fragrance makes Lavender grow a lot, especially in Provence.
Lavender oil is used in soap, perfume, etc.
Also, Lavender oil is used as essential oil. I myself sometimes use it with my massages.

Thanks to the neighbor, whose Lavender plant was allowed to serve as a model for this day!
