Yoors Flowerparade, day 98
We go to post number 100!
Of course there are thousands of flowers that I could still cover in the flower parade, but I keep it tidy.
We'll see how far I get.
Today in the flower parade, a flower that got me very excited when I saw it for the first time.
This flower is currently blooming in our garden, and comes from a bee mix, so seeds.
The name of the flower reveals why it was in it: Bee friend, bee bread, bee food, or in Latin: Phaecelia. I like Bee Friend the most, and easiest to remember.
It is clear that the plant is a bee friend: it is visited by many bees and bumblebees throughout the day.
And in addition, the flowers are very beautiful, and she makes works of art from the faded flowers!
I already know that I am going to collect seeds from this flower, because it is an annual.
For more info I had to consult Wikipedia, I really don't know that much about flowers, I have my dad for that!
The great advantage of the Bee Friend is that it does not contain emelts.
So no feeding on your plants!
The plant grows strong: about 70cm high, and if you don't tie it up quite wide.
We also see that in the garden, but it is no problem.
The plant roots very broadly, preventing weeds.
So all positive, this Bee Friend!
