Yoors Gone Wild: The Funniest Translation Mistakes of 2022
Yes, I know I'm a little late with this compilation this year, but if you scroll a little further you will completely understand why. I've been stuck for a whole month rolling on the floor laughing at these translations. How they came to be in the first place, is a question for the Amazon gods. Some of you have tagged me in a few hilarious comments. Our translation system has started a war, it seems to be learning but for the worse. This post is intended for entertainment purposes only so try to not take anything seriously :).
1. Fat balls

2. You're a baby!
@Mirelle - Crea met Kids and @Madeleine messaged me frantically telling me that the honor that they've given each other was being translated wrongly. Before I know it, people are honoring each other left and right for being an infant. This ofcourse was a big error from the translator who translated the word 'bevlogen' to 'infant'. I had to ofcourse immediately manually correct the mistake as fast as possible. But this was of course incredibly difficult: I was practically wheezing from all the laughing. I also practically have no idea how that error came to be, this one will forever be saved in the Yoors Book of Mysteries.

3. The return of the badger
For those of you who have read the Funniest Translations of 2021 , we all know that the badger is the real main character of this story.
And yes, this year he has also returned and this time it's getting compliments from all our members, being called handsome and all. This translation error occurs when the word "das", which is Dutch slang for "that's", gets translated wrongly. But "das" it also is an actual animal, which you can see on the right.
So yes, that's the problem when in a specific language two words mean the same thing....
