Today's challenge is all about movies. When we think of movies we all have certain types of movies that we like the most. I tried to see just have many different types there are. The way how they are classified is different form one source to another. Some main film types, or genres, as well call them are: action, adventure, comedy, crime, drama, historical, horror, musical, science fiction, war and western. There are also many subtypes and other categories. By now you have probably remembered your favorite movie and in your mind you have classified it in one of the above categories.

I want to share what is my favorite type. I haven't found it on this list, maybe because it is so unique. I am talking about mocumentaries. While typing this text my auto correct kept correcting this word into "documentary", but it is far from it.  Mockumentary (mock+documentary) is a type of parody movies or television series that are presented as a documentary recording real life. It is a special kind of humor, that sometimes requires a knowledge what is behind it, so you can really understand all the punchlines and jokes.

The first mocumentary I watched in a cinema was one form New Zealand called "Things We Do in the Shadows".  It is a mockumentary horror comedy movie, written and directed by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi and it dates back from 2014. I watched it in Austria, and there it was titled "5 Zimmer Küche Sarg". Since then I watched many movies from this genre and I loved almost every one of them.

Have you watched any good mocumentary?
