Show moreUnfortunately I couldn't enlarge the photos of the butterflies.. As far as that blue is concerned, I think it's an Icarus blue.. Heather blue seems excluded to me, as they only appear in a small biotope in southeast Friesland.. It's hard to identify the brown butterfly with the white stripe.. He has unfolded his wings strangely.. So looks like a tensioner, but isn't that?. I think it's a 2nd generation map, although I can't discover the thin red stripe on the rear wings. Could be a small kingfisher butterfly, but it almost does not occur in NL. Very rare, while white marking dots on the upper wings are missing. I think that's why you photographed a (female) map.
That would be nice, a clover blue.. But a heather blue is more likely. That's what Obsidentify says too.. And beautiful that map in summer clothes. I've got those tunnels in the garden too.. I looked up from a labyrinth spider once.. Wonderful walk again, very nice to watch.
@ellesvandenbroek Clover blue appears to be in the Netherlands again. Most likely in South Limburg, but also spotted on the Veluwe I read at the Butterfly Foundation. But a heather blue is also very special.. I've never seen before?. Who knows about the week when I go for a walk on the Dwingelderveld?.
