25-01-2020... And now it's ready, just (Austria, day 6)

While I'm writing it's dark outside, except for some lights from the Christmas tree and Christmas lights of the neighbor. There are Christmas lights on my balcony. I thank the Austrians forever for waiting for me before they take away the Christmas decorations. It makes me happy. Me, Santa Claus. Someone's walking outside with a flashlight, and I suspect he's walking a dog. I think the other neighbors had a visit, because two cars leave their path at 11:00. Yeah, that's why I'm on the balcony. I suck everything. Wants to see as much as possible. Day and night. I can't get enough of this country.

And I have Christmas lights myself... ðŸĪĢ

Yesterday I had decided to go to the market in Radstatt this morning, but of course already forgotten. That market was there from 7:00 to noon. By the time I remembered it again, I really had to hurry, because I was trying to put my blog online on the breakfast spot of the farm, where there was good wifi. So at 11:00 I flew down the mountain (no, of course not, silly ðŸĪŠ) to drive to the center.

Fifteen minutes it would take, according to Maps. Well, took a little longer with my pace of driving. But I made it to the market. I swear to you, four stalls. Either the rest had already left, or it really was. I think, scoring a nice souvenir or something, but no, just meat, soap and vegetables and some nonsense that didn't help me. Even so, souvenirs scored.

So those shops close at noon and I was in the store at 11:45, and then I had to figure out what I wanted. She had no idea why they were closed between 12 and 3pm. She had no idea why they were closed between 12 and 3pm. Has been since history. Time for me to move in and wake up the shopkeepers, they miss out on sales to all those tourists who are there in that time frame. Just as well, nice chatter (good for my German) and found something beautiful. Now hope the receiver likes it too. I can't elaborate, because she's probably reading along. Is the surprise off?

But after having walked through the center a bit, where you could shoot a cannon, drove to a Gasthof further in the center, which I knew I had Wifi there. Yeah, I'm getting more and more convenient. Most Gasthofs have public Wifi. That's handy when I need to find a hotel. Still saves costs on roaming. I wanted to go to Bad Gastein or Bad Hofgastein. That suspension bridge is over there. And it seems really cool to me, but I'm also sure I don't have to. Anyway, you found a hotel and head in that direction. Via via of course, because Maps shows the major roads, but not the tourist ones. Or I shouldn't have found it at the institutions, so you can tell me if I can.

Radstatt, seems clear to me 😉

Oostenrijk

This almost has an English atmosphere...

And then suddenly a cemetery pops up. I just walked down a gate... 😖👞

I meet them in the craziest places ðŸĪĢ

Many mountain climbed again and descended and in the right direction. Something in me said I should check the hotel and book just to be safe. Because I really want to be on base around 5:00, before it gets jet-black in the sky. Good thing I checked, because that hotel was not at all in Bad Gastein, but 31 kilometers away and I don't want to leave that corner yet. On the way back to Salzburg. Rapido Roaming turned on and picked out a hotel. Select 20-50 euros. That's all I'm gonna pay. Oh, nothing. Oh, crap. Type in another place. Oh, nothing. Yeah, well, not nothing at all, above 50 euros.

Expensive corner because of the many tourists. And suddenly a hotel comes rolling out. Drive a little further. Must be driving back tomorrow for that suspension bridge, though. But it could just disappear from my wish list. I drive, how I do it, I do it, up a mountain again. And it gets quieter on the road, but the view..... The view!!!!! It was worth driving to this address again. There's already no snow on the mountains here and there, and I wanted snow. Well, I got snow.

At five o'clock I drive up a path to..... neeeeeee...... a farm. TOO FUN!! I didn't read any of that, dude. I haven't had time for it. I am welcomed by a pile of cats (oh, how much I miss mine anyway) and the farmer. And then it got fun. He still had to feed the horses. I'm with you, of course. What did you think? Enjoy the pictures.

Oostenrijk

This is the way to it.

Oostenrijk

Driveway. You'll have to go into your driveway with a view like that 😉

Oostenrijk

Well, I think my cats need to be raised again. That's not how intimate I'm greeted at home 😛

Oostenrijk

And another pile that came to greet me...

Oostenrijk

And hemmes... the boss made him sit nicely. That took an average of three seconds...

Oostenrijk

The farmer has 30 horses. This is one.

Oostenrijk

I find them worthy of a poster!! Too funny those two.

Oostenrijk

Hoiiiii

Oostenrijk

That goat wanted my camera. I had to retire and so the photo failed. Will that goat be a sausage, by the way...

And what a lovely piece of that room of mine, it's a good thing I'm not very picky. It started with a broken staircase. In addition to the fact that there are still heuga tiles from the year jug lying on the ground. Apparently a lack of sockets. In fact, 1. So an extension cord. Delicious, how do you think of it? Washbasin is a crack in it, as well as in the shower box. The balcony door has an old-fashioned closure, but hey, it works, but you can't pull it behind you, because there's nothing to wear. I use my suitcase to keep the door ajar, so that it does not blow the warm room cold in 1x with -6 wind. The lamp on the ceiling is from 1920 and the wardrobe too. The bathroom door hangs on a warped tiled floor, but is good for ventilation such an open door. The warm water takes about an hour before it reaches me. All in all, paid a lot of money for old crap. Oh, and I also saw a crack in the balcony door glass. Actually, that tent is about to collapse 😖

Oh, look for yourself. Oh yes, and breakfast is 14 euros. In no 14 years....

That bread in my car is also good for breakfast here. But otherwise I find it FANTASTIC here!!!!

And carefully, I grow a snotty nose from all that balcony hanging. Just work some vitamin C inside. Coincidentally just bought it. It's like the Netherlands. You can get anything here...

Oostenrijk

Do you see me lying there, the socket?

Oostenrijk

Small cracks. Did I mention that the towel hook has come off the wall!! Can also be added

Oostenrijk

They didn't like me leaving. One on your lap. Had worms. Told farmer, but, yes, if he's going to do anything about it, I doubt.

Oostenrijk

Shouldn't you get on your head such icicles. But nice to see

Oostenrijk

I decided to continue down the road. It just stopped. That's what I say every time, the end of Austria reaches ðŸĪĢ

And now I'm done with it. I'm gonna ask everyone I speak to if they want to adopt me. I have two days of Austria to settle it. I don't want to, I don't want to go home anymore. Well, yes, just so. Pick up animals and stuff. I've been close to the realtor, by the way, just like that suspension bridge. But I cut them off this vacation. I don't know what to discuss with the broker if I don't even know where to live in Austria. Let me go find out first.

And that suspension bridge is probably much more fun in the summer, because when the snow melts away (and that's what the turnips do right now) Austria is also grey. Well, grey grey, brown and green...

See you again tomorrow...

the day it went wrong...
