While I'm writing it's dark outside, except for some lights from the Christmas tree and Christmas lights of the neighbor. There are Christmas lights on my balcony. I thank the Austrians forever for waiting for me before they take away the Christmas decorations. It makes me happy. Me, Santa Claus. Someone's walking outside with a flashlight, and I suspect he's walking a dog. I think the other neighbors had a visit, because two cars leave their path at 11:00. Yeah, that's why I'm on the balcony. I suck everything. Wants to see as much as possible. Day and night. I can't get enough of this country.

And I have Christmas lights myself... 🤣

Yesterday I had decided to go to the market in Radstatt this morning, but of course already forgotten. That market was there from 7:00 to noon. By the time I remembered it again, I really had to hurry, because I was trying to put my blog online on the breakfast spot of the farm, where there was good wifi. So at 11:00 I flew down the mountain (no, of course not, silly 🤪) to drive to the center.

Fifteen minutes it would take, according to Maps. Well, took a little longer with my pace of driving. But I made it to the market. I swear to you, four stalls. Either the rest had already left, or it really was. I think, scoring a nice souvenir or something, but no, just meat, soap and vegetables and some nonsense that didn't help me. Even so, souvenirs scored.

So those shops close at noon and I was in the store at 11:45, and then I had to figure out what I wanted. She had no idea why they were closed between 12 and 3pm. She had no idea why they were closed between 12 and 3pm. Has been since history. Time for me to move in and wake up the shopkeepers, they miss out on sales to all those tourists who are there in that time frame. Just as well, nice chatter (good for my German) and found something beautiful. Now hope the receiver likes it too. I can't elaborate, because she's probably reading along. Is the surprise off?

But after having walked through the center a bit, where you could shoot a cannon, drove to a Gasthof further in the center, which I knew I had Wifi there. Yeah, I'm getting more and more convenient. Most Gasthofs have public Wifi. That's handy when I need to find a hotel. Still saves costs on roaming. I wanted to go to Bad Gastein or Bad Hofgastein. That suspension bridge is over there. And it seems really cool to me, but I'm also sure I don't have to. Anyway, you found a hotel and head in that direction. Via via of course, because Maps shows the major roads, but not the tourist ones. Or I shouldn't have found it at the institutions, so you can tell me if I can.
