A glimpse into my little paradise - part 6: early autumn.
When summer passes into autumn, I always feel like it's the “end” of something. Nature seems to die, although the colors are still fantastic.
A firm cross spider weaved a huge web between the plum tree and the abundant flowering industrious groins in the planters near the driveway.
The iron hard is still the main attraction for all kinds of flying visits. Here's a stone bumblebee visiting.
Unlike the classic bumblebee no yellow and black here. It has a stone-red rear body and is otherwise completely black. It's a big big man who bums heavily when he flies around.
During one of the last summer pruning of the roses I found this specimen in a yellow chalice last week.
