Ben & Jerries

Cone togehter minicup - review

Yesterday I ate a Ben & Jerry's minicup. It's about the new taste, Cone Together. This taste was developed in 2019 and has been available in the supermarket since short. Cone Together minicup is a delicious vanilla ice cream with pieces of waffle surrounded with chocolate and a touch of caramel swirl. I'm curious about this taste, because I've been a fan of Ben & Jerry ice cream for years and especially the Chunky Monkey flavour, which is still the number 1 for me. I know Cookie Dough too, but unfortunately I find it disappointing. I'm especially curious if Cone Together doesn't look a bit like Cookie Dough, given that Cone Together also contains pieces of cake, albeit waffle cake.

We're going to taste!

My first impression of packaging is good. Just like Ben & Jerry's other cups, it looks so cozy with those colors, font, a nice ice horn image. Attempting to open the minicup fast. Inside I see the old familiar wooden spoon and then the inner lid that has a nice and beautiful print with the peace sign.! Or β€œhand in hand” Top! And then when the inner lid is removed, I see caramel, pieces of waffle and vanilla ice cream. We're going to taste! At the first bite, I immediately taste the touch of the caramel swirl. Not too dominant, but just right. Also, the caramel swirl is well distributed in proportion throughout the vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream tastes good too, not too sweet and reminds me of cookie dough too. Than the chocolate waffle pieces. They are surprisingly crunchy.! Really crunchy and no flabby biscuit pieces. The chocolate layer of the waffle pieces are tasty, but should have been a bit thicker from me. As always, the ice is good in structure, not too thin, not too thick, but solid in shape, which I love very much. That if you take a scoop that the ice doesn't fall off your spoon directly, but sticks and you can melt the ice in your mouth quietly. Conclusion: A tasty minicup with a nice bite of chocolate waffle pieces and the caramel that slightly tickles your tongue with the seasalt. Cone Together looks like Cookie Dough? No, definitely no, because I'm pleasantly surprised by those crunchy waffle pieces. I would definitely recommend Ben & Jerry's Cone Togehter and I give a grade 8.
