Luckily, I don't have it yet, and I hope to keep it that way.
Just the moment you think you can take everything back for your company, there is a virus that rages everything.
All entrepreneurs, especially freelancers, are victims. Then you also have Minister Eric Wiebes who makes these retarded statements. His words: “The approximately one million self-employed people without a person (self-employed) in the Netherlands do not have to count on additional financial support from the government because of the coronavirus”. It will mean a decline in income for many freelancers. They have chosen a bit for that too.
This makes me incredibly angry, furious. At a time when the labour market was on a low burner, I was working for a benefit. I had to give up every performance I did and was shortened by getting a bottle of wine. Since there was no work to be found, I decided to turn my hobby, singing, into my work. It was quite a risk, because it's an industry in which you have no certainty. I went to do some side activities, and it all went well.

Jealousy is also very present in this industry. Many do not give another the light in the eyes and do really strange things.
They'll make you black and try to level you to the ground. By ignoring this total, although it is quite difficult, I slowly scratch back up. I knew 14 years ago that it was a hard world and that it's not always rose scent and moonshine. Still, after 9 years I decided to jump into the deep and take on the challenge.
A pandemic is something nobody takes into account at first, right?
Groningen, the province I live in, was last affected by the virus. The virus that is the conversation of the day, but not only in the Netherlands, no it is worldwide. Does it make me anxious? No, not for me. I eat and drink healthy, I'm still quite young and have no other health problems. Should it happen to my parents, I'll be worried. My father is almost 63 years old, heart sufferer, diabetes and has skin cancer. My mother is just 58 years old, suffering from fibromyalgia, her lungs are not perfect and also has a chance of COPD.

I know from a number of people that they have symptoms and that they are being examined. One person I know is that he has been tested positive. Somehow it makes me a little more alert and I pay attention to certain things myself. Is there something else, my breathing is good, I have no fever, how does my throat feel, it is not raw, how does it swallow.
In my circle of friends, they put this in public on Facebook. Will everyone do/dare? Or would they be ashamed or afraid of how their environment will react? What would you do?
If I was infected, at least I'll make it public, because there's no need for embarrassment, and you don't have to feel guilty. It happened to you now, and you need to make sure you get better quickly. Take it the right way.
My performances and figuration jobs have all been canceled this month. That means no income. I certainly won't complain because I know I'm not the only one. I wish everyone a lot of strength and have incredible respect for those who work in the care sector. #coronavirus #stayhealthy

Coronavirus and self-employed.
