Make your own fruit dolls from flower pots!

  • The terracotta jars are painted with acrylic paint. What size you take, that doesn't matter. Then adjust the size of the heads again. Styropor (styrofoam) balls are also painted with white acrylic paint.
  • The arms and legs are made of natural macrame cord, but you can also use plain cotton thread or thick wool. You can use the braid or macrame technique if you can. For kids, you can also use chenille wire, which is nice and easy, thick and bendable and also looks great.
  • Knot at the end of arms and legs a nice bead.

  • Make a hole at the bottom of the head by rotating with scissors. In the hole, the ends of the wires are glued.
  • Cut the “ducks” out of green felt and make a hole in the middle. take the strings of arms and legs together.Insert it all through the hole of the crooch, then glue it into the hole in the head.
  • Prick felt leaves with a pin stuck in the head. A stem is made here with a little foam clay, but if you don't have it, it can also be done with felt or green foam rubber, which is a bit firmer.
  • You can draw a face with marker, but of course it doesn't have to. No face has something, I think, yes, right?? :)
