Our positivity tree

Last year we started a new tradition, which is to decorate this tree in our garden.

We use a dough made from baking soda, cornflour and water. We have alphabet prints for printing words on the hearts, and once they dry we coat them with podge.

We try and put as many positive words as possible but also some Christmas phrases or song names and we even added a few things we hope makes our guests laugh a little, like "keep the change you filthy animal" everyone that has seen Home Alone, should know what that's all about.

Last year it was a big hit, everyone that visited went to the tree and took a look at those hearts, it was nice to see how they stood there smiling as they looked through them. So why not do that again.

We also made some stars, but are undecided if we should hang them under the tree or in a different spot.
