yOORS LAUNCH PAD

HELPING YOU EXPLORE THE YOORS UNIVERSE

In the first episode of the Yoors podcast, Henkjan and Babita shared with us some of the challenges Yoors is facing at this point of its journey. One of them, they said, is the innovative nature of its features and tools. This novelty, coupled with the fact that Yoors is essentially a project launched in beta mode, has meant that newcomers and old timers alike have had a hard time adjusting and getting familiarised with the platform. This, in turn, could be hindering its adoption and growth.

As a member of the platform, I can definitely recall moments of confusion or frustration of my own, which is why in the past I've created a few posts designed to help other members navigate the platform. One of these posts has been my best performing post to date by far, still getting promoted (thanks, Yoors team!) and liked today, even though some of it is a bit outdated by now.

Creating tutorials is both fun and rewarding for me. It's fun, because I love to learn and teach. And it's rewarding because I feel (I hope?) that they add value to the individual reader and to the Yoors community as a whole.

Which is why my proposal in response to Henkjan's Top Proposals challenge is to develop a project called Yoors Launch Pad: a series of posts designed to help Yoorsies journey safely and confidently around the Yoors universe.

In my noobie time on Yoors, as searching for answers how this platform works, your content had the information I was confused about, multiple times. Also, I like how fluidly and simple you keep it, and still manage to explain and pass the knowledge about the topic 😊 Wish you luck 💚
@Child of Nature Those words mean a lot, thank you! ❤️

@pitamaria2000 Good to hear you think this is a worthwhile idea, thank you!
I have no doubt that in your hands, members, old and new will find this very helpful.
@Mónica Thank you so much, Mónica! And we've missed you!! ❤️
Good plan. You can do that very well.! Maybe somehow we can complement each other.? I explain my way in Dutch and link to your explanation in English (and, if you want, vice versa)?
Explanation in word and image I also like, as you know. Currently, I am also considering explaining the pro plan (which I'm testing).
@Ingrid Tips en meer Wonderful, dear Ingrid! Our approaches can definitely complement each other! Since I am quite short on time these days I can't really commit to a pre-posting joint schedule or anything like that: I plan to work on things as time permits,... Show more
