Inspiration novice bloggers
On popular request an updated version of an older post; with this one.
Sometimes it's hard to have enough ideas for a post/blog again. Still, there are some ways to get inspiration or gain inspiration. After all, you've been walking around this planet for quite some time, so you have plenty of stories. They just do not always come 'above the table' at the desired time. Think about your school trip, or things you've been through at school, in the clubhouse, dancing, concert or with a sports day. The stupid songs you had to sing with music class or that thing you made with manual labor. That vacation that fell into the water like that, or where you had something weird. That beautiful unexpected meeting with someone. Or that weird uncle you have/had. That time you ran into that lamppost or cycled in the ditch... Just remember that not everyone appreciates the fact that he/she is mentioned in your story. So change some names, or make the story so that someone else can't figure out who it is. You can also try to write a fictional story or about something you know a lot about. Maybe you rebuilt your house or moved. Your garden, plants inside or outside. A nice anecdote or a story from your diary. That blowout tire you got on the bike or a huge blunder you made at work. Your vacuum cleaner that exploded, or the fight you had in the supermarket, in the parking lot, on the street. A few more tips, write for example about: The neighborhood, or city or region where you live and the customs there. Sleepovers of you or the children. The hobby, collection/collection you have or sport you practice. Your work, your studies, your trips and holidays. Nature, forest walk, cruise. A picture or story about the season, the (party) month, carnival, Christmas. Easter, etc. Tips, facts and tricks. Your pet (s). Your dreams. Cooking, current trends, the season, (regional) news or a supplement to it. A review about a product that you like good or bad. Just don't copy (news) messages or other items from the internet, make sure your item is a supplement or added value. But also, the times you've been so in the pit, or about illness. These are not such fun topics, but you can benefit yourself and someone else too. Just don't do it too often, it can scare people off. Events that are held in your area, or your day of fitness. Your last swimming lesson, the big attic cleanup... Post your most beautiful photos, or make them a collage in a blog, with a little text with each picture. Or a poem you made yourself. Come on, you must know what! Additions for ideas are always welcome!
