Maaike (born 25 June 1953 in Amsterdam) has been painting since 1990.
Since 2011, Maaike has left town and chose the tranquility of nature, which she has long been longing for.
It goes as it goes and Maaike now lives in the west of the Netherlands.
Where it's less quiet but much more buzzing.
As a Life Artist, she has developed her own style.
She searches for life force, spirituality and brilliance of life and does not shy any material. Acrylic paint, ink, beads, chalk, pencil, marker, sand..
