As with many top brands of stone-good quality, also with Lego counterfeit products are in circulation.
In Belgium there are 3 official LEGO associations.

They organise events and meetings and you'll also find a lot of useful info if you're a lego-fan.
They warn their members against counterfeiting.

Imitatie van de steentjes en dozen zelf samen stellen mag wel omdat het octrooi van Lego verlopen is en iedereen ze mag maken.
De naam mag je natuurlijk niet gebruiken, die ligt wel vast.
