#Leonie is a woman in her 40s, she could be your neighbor. After her divorce, she builds her new life. With neighbor Mandy she has dinner appointments of the good kind: Mandy cooks! Love also comes around the corner again, with all the consequences that this entails..

It's Sunday morning, and Leonie is hanging on the couch with her laptop. Martijn and Ismay are in front of television and Julia is still asleep, as far as Leonie knows. Leonie's phone is blowing. She has an app, from Mandy. 'I have to work this way, I'll be back Tuesday afternoon, shall we have dinner together? ' Leonie notices that she immediately gets a big smile. In her mind, she feels the touch of Mandy's soft fingers on her neck. She gets hot. “Good idea, I'll bring dessert, “she appends back. Mandy responds with a wink. “Maybe you are dessert, “reads Leonie. She gets it even warmer! She doesn't know how to react well and sends a blushing smiley as an answer. “Do I get a kiss goodbye before I leave? “ Mandy replies. Leonie smiles. She has noticed that she finds it almost unbearable that Mandy is so close in the house next door, but still so far away. It does her good that Mandy seems to feel the same way.

Leonie thought lightning fast. How did she manage to see Mandy for a second? When Mandy came to her, she had to pass in front of Julia's bedroom window, so outside the gallery wouldn't go. In the hallway? She was afraid one of the kids would see her. So she had to go to Mandy with an excuse. She decided to keep it vague. “I'm coming, “she probably applied to Mandy. She got up from the couch with the phone still in her hand. “I'm going to go next door,” she said to Martijn and Ismay, who could hardly get their attention off television. “Back soon, okay?” She was waiting for a response. Martijn looked up. “What?” he asked disinterested. “I have to go to Mandy, who asked me something, I'll be right back”. “Okay,” Martijn said. He was watching television again where a hysterical cartoon was played that Leonie had seen a few times before. Children liked repetition, that was obvious.

Okay, base one was taken. Julia was quiet in her room, maybe she was still asleep. Leonie grabbed her key and gently closed the front door behind him. With the closing of the door, the nerves were also screaming through her body. What was she doing now? She was on her way to a quick hug with the neighbor. Somewhere in the back of her head another voice cried out whether this was wise, but Leonie would not listen to it. Apparently Mandy was already waiting behind the door, at least the door swung open for Leonie. There was Mandy standing in her flight attendant suit, while Leonie was dressed in an easy yoga pants and big sweater, her Sunday hanging outfit. Mandy pulled her towards her, and soon their lips found each other, and where Mandy was always very gentle and cautious, she seemed to be barely able to hold herself, until she suddenly called herself to order. “Sorry,” Mandy said, “I can hardly hold back”. Leonie wanted to disappear in Mandy and gently stammered that it wasn't bad. “Yes,” Mandy chucked “Even if it's just for my makeup, I just put myself up very carefully!” Leonie blushed. “Ow dear dear, can we not lock ourselves up together for a week?” For a moment, Mandy looked at Leonie yearning. “I know, I can't. Give me another kiss, maybe I'll make it until I get back the day after tomorrow.” Mandy was himself again. Leonie smiled and moved her head towards Mandy until their lips touched very gently. Mandy kissed Leonie a few more times on her mouth and then resolutely said, “So. Now I'm going to work. And you will take care of your children at home”. “Work them,” said Leonie as she stepped out and threw another kiss hand at Mandy. Mandy smiled professionally and closed the front door behind him.
