Anyone who knows me well knows that if I want something, I am fully committed to it until... my goal is achieved!

In de zomer van 2018 ontmoette ik François Walthéry (zie foto hieronder), de beroemde Belgische striptekenaar van de succesvolle reeks 'Natacha' met meer dan 50 jaar (!) ervaring. Well, besides the fact that I 'train' with signs as much as possible (see premium post 'technical secrets: muscle control and dissection... at the bottom), I also often ask advice to people who can and know more than I do, such as Mr. Walthéry! I have been a huge fan of his virtuoso drawings for a long time and contacted him again a few days ago. My effort was rewarded with a reply written by Walthéry himself!

I see it as a nice encouragement in dark times. Yes, I wrote about that in my 'intermezzo: balance' (see link at the bottom)
