My father is a real example to me, used to be what he could open the superhero who could open applesauce jars... And now he's the guy who participates in film competitions! I myself have been working on film and media for years and have been able to follow several courses. My father's not against it, “in his time they didn't have it yet.” I hear him say haha. But that didn't stop him, he once told me that he was also busy making film and pictures when he was younger. So it is all the more beautiful that now the technique is there that he can also perform this during his favorite hobby, namely diving. Something I'll never do... Snorkeling is enough for me! All the more beautiful that my father captures everything, so I can see the underwater life WITHOUT having to go under a cup! Our film relationship I shall call it is as a follower...

HELP EACH OTHER

My father has always supported my film career (even though it's not very exciting yet). He often helps me with videos for YouTube or Short Films for intakes of training courses! For example, the photo next is of a Short Film “Ice Cold Drama” that we made a few years ago. There's a lot of jokes about ice in it... 🍦

Anyways, he helps me with projects like that which I love. Then, of course, it is quite right that I help him with his films! But this has a prerequisites, he often asks me for tips or a second opinion. Only when it really comes to filming, he does everything by himself! I love that, because it's easy to have your son “the educated filmmaker” film everything... But no, he wants to learn it all himself 😁

The matches

In recent years my father has participated in many competitions and won a lot of prizes! I also see a lot of progress with every contest he's in. But the last game of this year was still the highest... The ONK, which he participated in the Video Masters this time. After days of working with the script and having done several tests, it was time! He has been busy with it and has translated his script nicely into a Short-Film about the pollution of underwater life.
