In the 70s of the last century, large mainframes became commonplace in several large companies. A new trend came under way: individual computers. Several manufacturers came up with their own models. You had the Apple II, the Commodore PET and the Altair 8000. Everything would change in 1981, when IBM came up with the Personal Computer. Together with Microsoft's MS-DOS operating system, a gold combination, which would eventually set the standard for businesses.
