This's is my strawberry and I think it deserves to be called Mighty with big M.
I brought this plant from Slavonia to Dalmatia (two different, very different climate area zones in Croatia). After the trip, her leaves looked exactly like most of them look now- totally dry and without water. I manage to save them, they actually did evolve on the next level - new, much more greener leaf and big juicy fruits - I was producing a new strain of strawberry because in Dalmatia there are no conditions for those plants if they do not adapt. And it's rare to see a strawberry here because it's hard to grow them. I was so happy, having them!
Until one day we went on river Mrežnica. My brother forgot about my garden and for the whole 2 weeks, my dear plants did not have any water. At 38 degrees in the shade, during the hottest days in August, they all looked dead. I cried really hard after coming home but never with the intention to give up on them!
On the fourth day of watering, singing to them, even dancing haha, they surprised me in the most unexpected way - they are alive and ready to grow even better and stronger!
Coming back like a Mighty Strawberry!

I understand your frustration, the detail is that as you mention it, strawberries need certain climatic aspects to grow the right way. Anyway, keep fighting a search for a way for them to have the right environment.

What a beautiful reflection! Did you know that some studies prove that plants react to music and become even more beautiful when regularly exposed to it? Beethoven and Mozart seem to be most effective. I never tried it though 😃😃😃

Oh yeah... strawberries. We have them like wild plants, just grow under the trees.. The only difference from the cultivated specimens is that the fruits are smaller, but sweeter..
