@Toto Animo I think the boat was already damaged when it washed ashore, because it was jammed during a storm. But apart from that, the Greeks are not 'cleaners'. Everywhere you can see car wrecks in nature, including refrigerators, etc. They just dump everything. Had I noticed last year in Corfu: https://yoo.rs/afval-ook-dit-is-europa-1627975708.html?Ysid=35575
It is special that these shipwrecks often remain lying down, and many people migrate. It usually doesn't pull me. But that sky blue water and sea. 😍😍😍😍😍
@Encaustichris The shipwreck is also in a unique, beautiful spot. That is probably why so many tourists are coming to it. The wreck itself wasn't impressive either. A rusty thing with holes in.
@enigma caves and private island part with beach and then we went to lay sardines on the bbq there on the beach. Was such a boat trip what you could do with a fishing boat.
@Ingrid Tips en meer Our water shoes are at home, in the shoe cabinet. So forget ! And I didn't find the ship itself that spectacular either. The road to it and the surroundings are beautiful. Also the place where the ship is stranded.... Show more@Ingrid Tips en meer Our water shoes are at home, in the shoe cabinet. So forget ! And I didn't find the ship itself that spectacular either. The water here is really so incredibly blue because of the rocks at the bottom. The limestone rocks are quite porous, so dozens of caves and inlets were formed.
@enigma Yes, something like that is indeed beautiful!! I love that, too. Although the high walls may make me feel a little claustrophobic. They shouldn't be too close to each other. (In Porto Covo, Portugal, that was fine.)
