No Budget activities

Didi'ms world

The meaning ofNo Budget activity is No (no) budget (amount you have to spend) on an activity (is something people do or can do.This can be both physical and spiritual). No budget activity does not come in handy. It's at no cost.

Low budget activities are activities that require little money to be able to carry out.Low budget is a concept that many people know and also often strive for.And often it is associated with low incomes.Although it is, of course, right to assume that people with low income benefit from activities that cost little money, I also find that starting point a bit one-sided and stigmatizing.Because a low budget activity can also have a person's preference in the context of sustainability.People who reuse stuff are low-budget but also people who grow vegetables in the garden, for example, are working low budget.Although this can also be tackled no budget.

No budget activities are in my opinion less promoted than low budget activities.I think this is partly due to the society in which we live where buying is associated with prosperity. If you spend money or can spend money, you are doing well, and that's what people want to show.Often this also happens unconsciously.Since March, we have all been confronted with a virus that restricts us.In fact, I must say that the measures taken to prevent the virus from spreading are perceived as limiting.Pubs close, festivals do not go on, shopping is no longer what it has been, going on holiday is not recommended, travelling with public transport has restrictions and scares people.People don't know what to do with themselves now.“The coronacrisis has caused aggravated mental problems in 60 percent of the Dutch.Because of lack of social contacts, spontaneity and security, life has become less fun for them.” (1) Although people assume that people are happier when their prosperity is higher, this does not seem to be true.“TThe poor countries are struggling with the psychological suffering, not the poor, but the rich countries. The 'Western, Educated, Industrialised, Rich and Democratic' or 'weird' societies are particularly affected by the mental crisis. There are more psychological complaints in rich countries than in poor countries.” (2) And although this is nothing new, the Covid19 pandemic and the response to the measures taken shows this very clearly in my opinion. In a situation like this, you don't have much use to money.A situation like this shows how flexible a person can deal with adversity and how creative a person is to move on mentally healthy with his or her life when life suddenly requires drastic measures. We and people in other rich countries have not learned this.Kids don't learn anymore either.Entertainment is only fun when entertainment costs money that starts at school.During a school trip a scavenger hunt and picnic is considered shabby while an expensive trip to an amusement park is seen as THE outing of the year. The consequence of this is that people no longer know their own environment and have absolutely no idea how they can entertain themselves without being able to spend money.Because even if you wish and can, money is not the way to do an activity while no budget activities are still possible. You just have to be able to think of them, so start thinking without a price tag.No budget activities do not limit but give the freedom everyone craving for.

walking

Walking costs nothing at all.You can just walk out the door and see where you come out, but you can also go hiking trails.Through Google you can find a lot of hiking routes and so you get to places you haven't been yet.You can create your own walking route and publish it on yoors. You can also go geocaching then combine walking with the game of treasure hunting.Fun for children but also for adults.Bring something to eat and drink and go for a picnic. Also possible with rain. There's always a dry spot somewhere to be found. You can do this in nature and use an app to search for the names of the plants, fruits or mushrooms. But also in the city it is nice to walk long murals, or old buildings or to go on a statue tour.Or challenge yourself by taking 10,000 steps every day.
