Already 8 companies approached meanwhile...

This is what I #learnedtoday

My rotten window frames need to be replaced and trespa plates have to be replaced by brick walls. But I run into walls.

Of all 8 companies approached I had one response back and this one indicated to be full for a year! But I respect this, at least a reaction! Where I see contractors at work, I sometimes ask if they still take orders. Often I get the answer that they are busy but still come by to see it or even to make a quote. But also these companies do not appear at the appointed time, not even at all! Then you walk by with the dog, they say, “I haven't forgotten you, I'll come by this week! Yeah, sure...

What they should not forget in this arrogant world is that there will be another bad time soon. That they get down on their knees just to get the job done, please. And I can't wait for it to come. What I learned today is that you should be able to do everything yourself, so that you are as little as possible dependent on others!

Zo kwamen wij er achter dat blijkbaar het ook niet vanzelfsprekend is, dat een badkamer winkel ook de badkamer komt plaatsen. Blijkbaar heb je daar dus ook een aannemer voor nodig en ja, die kan de winkel eventueel wel voor je regelen........... We zoeken... Show more

@DiaantjesLife 🦋 Mijn ervaring is dat ook de klusbedrijfjes het druk hebben. Als je er dan toch één vind die tijd heeft, is dat geen goed teken vrees ik... Een fatsoenlijke badkamerwinkel hebben daar normaal gesproken mensen voor. Anders hard weglopen!

@Bij Ann Daar lijkt het wel op inderdaad. Ook bij familie; "Als er iets gedaan moet worden moet je 't maar laten weten hoor!" En dan doe je dat en krijg je niet eens een reactie.

ja dat zeker maar ja je kan nou eenmaal niet alles zelf. Een goed klusbedrijf al gezocht?? Ik hoor het hele jaar al dat ze zo druk zijn en lange wachttijden hebben.

@marijke Nee, helaas niet. Ze hebben het ook ontzettend druk maar dan verwacht je toch op z'n minst een reactie. En beloftes doen en niet nakomen vind ik sowieso not-done.
