I don't really remember what I thought, but I remember thinking for the first time. “I can think for myself” and these thoughts are mine and no one else. I can do something with this and I can get started right away. It took me years before I really started thinking myself.

I remember a situation when I was two years old. My parents were expecting my sister and went to Paris for a short break, I stayed with my grandpa and grandma. The fence of the balcony was too high for me to look over and I wanted to look over it at the garden that was 4 floors below. I remember when I thought that if I stood on a chair, I could look over the balcony fence. So I went back in to drag a chair to the balcony from the back room. That obviously took the necessary effort at that age, with my strength and length of time. But I succeeded. Placed the seat against the fence and climbed on it to look over the edge of the fence. Then all of a sudden, a cry! “Don't do, are you completely!!” My grandma scared the apic acid and pulled me off the chair, in safety. It was the only time I saw my grandma angry. I'm actually the most shocked by that.

@Dewaputra That is the very best method to teach children. Because if your grandma did that in a soft-handed way, your curiosity would have persisted. Then you might have grabbed a chair at another unguarded moment. with all the consequences of course.

I think this is a hard one. When you start thinking about your first (original, conscious) thought, actually you start searching for your earliest memory. For a memory also comes with an original or conscious thought - or am I wrong? I have to think about this one and call in again later.

This is one of the hardest questions to answer because you have to consider what is an original thought? the basis of a thought - regardless of whether it is original or not - relies on a foundation of current knowledge, which means that the original area has already been lost.

But I made me (as a preschool !!) make sure the blood stopped flowing through his upper arm when I sat back. (I was about 5 years back then.because when I was 6, he died.) That's why I never sat back, but I was quite upright.
When I think of that now, I wonder what I knew about anatomy at the time, where I got that idea from and, above all, how many preschoolers worry about it.
