Here is the problem
Since becoming a full-time freelancer about a year and half ago, my work life has shifted almost exclusively to the laptop, which I also use for more leisurely online activity (like posting on Yoors!).
The laptop allows me the flexibility to work from different locations, and it packs a punch in terms of its in-built features and what I can do with them. However, its many advantages come at the cost of some significant disadvantages in terms of immediate long-term health.
The unnatural posture I am forced to assume (shoulders bent forward, chest collapsing and eyes cast downward) ends up building a lot of extra tension in my neck and upper back, as well as straining my eyes due to the awkward angle. So, recurring neck pain and headaches became part of my daily routine.
