Shocking footage on TV this morning, after a weekend of rioting in various cities and villages, following the curfew. It is shameless how some think they have to “blunt their freedom' through rioting. There will probably be people who really want to demonstrate 'peacefully', but this is really not normal anymore!

Met scherp schieten helpt het best. Wanneer mensen meerdere keren gemaand worden weg te gaan en je blijft toch, accepteer je automatisch de risico's.

I have only read bits here and there so I am not completely clued up on what exactly happened there. But I understand your anger and frustration. Here when things don't go a certain way then often "protests" involve violence, theft, destruction of property, including breaking and burning things.

Ja, ik ben er ook klaar mee, maar dat schijnt niet genoeg zoden aan de dijk te zetten, er klaar mee zijn. Ik weet niet of het echt zal helpen, die avondklok, maar wat zeker niet zal helpen is er op een zo'n heftige manier tegenin te gaan.

@Dana ik denk dat niemand echt weet of het helpt of niet. Al zou het maar 5% schelen, dan scheelt het toch iets en is het dus effectief. Zo denk ik er over. Wat misschien meer zoden aan de dijk zet: het leger er op af, of gewoon wat mensen van 'selfdefence/judo, karate' (mensen die wat klappen kunnen uitdelen zeg maar).
