It seems magical: drawing on a piece of thin foil, which then shrinks into a very small piece of thick hard plastic figure. That's what you can do with shrink wrap, if you put it in the (regular household) for 30 secondsoven does! You can draw in plain A4 format, with permanent markers or coloured pencil. Colouring doesn't even have to be so precise, because when it shrinks, the colors get nicely close to each other.

Have you tried it? - No? Then we really recommend it to you once! Not only for children this is a magical and fun process to see, adults are also perplexed how the result can be!

We have the protagonist from the picture book Coco can do it! ( Loes Riphagen / Gottmer publishers) resigned on white shrink film, Krimpie from the brand Collall. The plates have been traced with the help of a light box. Don't you have a light box? Then stick the example and the foil over it against the window so you can easily cover it. Draw with permanent markers on the smooth side of the sheet, you have crayons, then draw on the other side (the rough side) of the sheet.

Shrink has 3 types of shrink film, namely white (as used here), but also transparent (transparent) sheets and frosted sheets. The transparent is super handy if you want to trace something (without a light box) at the table, e.g. from a coloring book or from a printed drawing. The frosted is matte and gives a kind of “frozen ice” look.

We got to work!
