Sloth crafts 🦥🦥
Have you seen an animal that sleeps for a good part of the day, rarely sets foot on the ground, prefers hanging around and moves very, very slowly?
I’m talking about a lot cuter and a lot less hormonal - the sloth!
There's so much to be inspired by in Sloths. They seem to enjoy the good things in life, hanging out, watching the world go by, and always with a smile on their faces!
My son always loves Sloths and crafts, so we did our own version of sloth ( blue 😄😇) collage crafts with recycled magazines stripes.
Collage art is open ended and allows for free exploration of materials. There’s no “wrong” way to combine different items, that can be incredibly freeing for little artists and most importantly the materials are right
Materials and steps for sloths collage crafts
🦥 All we need for collage crafts are magazines stripes or any pieces of papers, scissors ✂, glue.
🦥 Draw a sloth on a cardboard/card stock or paste a sloth image printables.
🦥 Pieces of magazines stripes of your choice of color, size, shapes, here my son has chosen blue, white, orange and black.
🦥 Glue the magazine pieces on to sloth drawings on cardboard.
🦥 we have added some of our garden collections branches and twigs to make the sloth hanging.

👉Sloths are native to rainforests of Central and South America.
👉Sloths are known for their slow movements and hanging motionless from trees.
👉Sloths have claws that are about 4 inches long to help them hang onto branches of trees.
👉Sloths generally urinate and defecate just once a week.
👉Sloths can take up to 30 days to digest one leaf.
👉Sloths slow movement is because they have slow metabolism and very low energy diet.
👉Two toed sloth species are omnivores and have diet of bugs 🐜 🐛 🐞
👉Three toed sloth species are herbivores and exclusively munch on leaves of only few trees.
👉Sloths and algae share symbiotic relationships where algae gets benefits by living on surface of sloth whereas sloths gets camouflage as protection from predators.

For those who want to sign, this is a nice assignment. Drawing a sloth. Of course, that doesn't necessarily have to be an animal. I also know some sloths around me in everyday life, although they don't hang sleeping in trees.

sun great animal a sloth. I think they're too cute. Is just thinking in which children's film the female sloth is at the counter and that the heeeeeeeeeel lay takes her to react. splendid. That inertia. Fun made !
