Cape Peninsula

On Sunday we took a drive all along the coast of the Cape Peninsula. We drove over mountains, that are part of the Table Mountain National Park, with clouds moving beautifully above us, we had to stop at a stage to let two baboons walk over the street.

We stopped at a couple of beaches along the way. I cannot describe the colour of the water, especially at those with the light blue, then turquoise and ending in dark blue, it is unreal and needs to be seen.

Our intention had been to go to Cape Point, but with the Covid cases rising and our hospital in Western Cape filled to capacity we decided to do the road trip and skip the tourist part of the point.

Smart move because thought we have driven past these beaches we had never actually stopped at any of them. We were pretty speechless and there were so few people on those beaches that you get the feeling you on a private beach somewhere.

Everywhere there were sings to drive slowly "we love our children and animals" I really loved seeing that.

@enigma Gosh and this side we have had some really hot days. Kids have been swimming most of their day just to keep cool.
