Surprising strings
Who thinks of violins and cellos often thinks of (boring?) classical music. But there's more than that.
For example, there is the classically skilled Croatian duo Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, who intertwine very skilled versions of rock, pop and classical music with their cellos.
Take a moment to watch and listen to this act, combining Led Zeppelin with Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
Cello... boring? I think this is anything but boring. I find this surprising, virtuoso and breathtakingly beautiful.
Or take the American violinist Damien Eskobar. Here too, a classical instrument becomes an instrument that works wonders. Last winter we had an event at our school where the children danced, with the theme 'love for'. I took this song and made them dance with canvases and ribbons to bring the 'love of creation'.
Deze is heel bekend en vind ik gaaf. https://youtu.be/Rq481utZ8yE
