Today, on the last day of 2021, I'm bringing episode 2 of my big good news show, an annual review where I want to put the positive things in the spotlight and completely abandon the negative conscious.

I think everyone already knows at the moment that climate change threatens a lot of nature reserves in one way or another.

Turning global warming back for a while, I'm sure it won't work.
The planet does not have an adjustable thermostat and too little action is taken to hit the brakes very hard.
 ( I know, that's not the good news but wait, it's coming ! )

One of those endangered areas is the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef in the world .

This is located off the coast of Australian Queensland and is more than 334 ,000 kilometres in size.

Already in the time of colonization (the late 1800s) the demise of this coral reef began, but the acceleration did not come until the seawater started to warm up. It was assumed that global warming was thus the big culprit.

That's good news for sure.! I saw a documentary about this. An underwater coral nursery.
@Ingrid Tips en meer They're currently doing it on a boat, in which a lab is set up. Nice if it could be restored like that.

This is indeed very promising for the coral reef and all the cold-blooded people who have their habitat there. Bewitching beautiful photos, like it wasn't Australia. Enjoyed the information.
