The time has come again; the tax return
I get so tired of that every year.. Just get the preparations fixed..
Keep all items well at the beginning of the year. There are often annual statements that you need for your return later. To make it extra “easy”, you need to download the annual statements of your bank (s) or government agencies frequently, whether or not via DigiD. If you're going to make a paper declaration, I'd better make sure your printer is okay, have ink that's not dry and paper, lots of paper. Now I can add a little less because I can print double-sided. If your printer is wireless, there may also be some challenges ahead (also in the queue).
Every year I also have to ask various healthcare providers (sometimes repeatedly) to send an overview of the number of consultations last year. This i.v.m. the mileage allowance. Also parking tickets and everything I send along.
Regularly I receive letters from the tax authorities, also regarding the intermediary. So my accountant. I would be very happy if. could be explained once in understandable Dutch. When I read the letters 3x, I read 3x what else. But fortunately Friend is good at this. While you think you've kept everything well, somehow there's always something missing. Friend's going through the paperwork and I'm the copy hat.
Everything is filled in and because I n.a.v. some nasty experiences with Post.nl , this company no longer trust, I personally bring it to the accountant. ca. Three minutes drive and three quarters of an hour back of course. And then it's just to wait and see. Often you find out later that there was more that you could deduct. So also last year. So I'll give you that this year and hopefully I can just.
After this misery I generally notice a few months later a lot of rewarded! Well, from my own money then.
Next comes the holiday allowance and then there is reason for a small party.
The tax authorities can't make it more fun - as it has been painful for many people - but make it easier by now!

Het is de laatste jaren echt gemakkelijker geworden voor particulieren. Vanaf 1 maart is er al heel veel automatisch ingevuld en hoef je eigenlijk alleen maar te controleren en 'volgende' te klikken. Voor ondernemers is het ingewikkelder.

I see what you mean, all the bureaucratic "papers" :) I've had an accountant but then, one day, growing parts of the tax declaration could be automatically filled in and I made the "great jump": I began to fill it and deliver it myself (pat on my shoulder 😉 )

Ik verzamel ook alles het hele jaar. Ik heb een hangmap belasting nieuwe spullen met aparte plastic mapjes erin zodat ik alles al gelijk sorteer. In Excel hou ik alles bij. Hij heeft nooit zo'n haast helaas maar goed tis best. Gelukkig krijg ik altijd nog een leuk bedrag terug. Althans ik en Fred moet betalen maar per saldo krijgen we dus terug, Altijd weet leuk toch!!

It seems a little complicated the tax payment, this reminds me of when I used to work and I had to pay taxes, generally my accountant did it, I just attached the supporting documents.

Toen wij nog huurde, deed ik het altijd zelf digitaal. Nou ja, eigenlijk was het al voor me gedaan en hoefde ik het alleen nog maar te controleren en kreeg ik niks terug. Geen aftrekposten. Wij hebben bij onze verzekering, die ook de hypotheek regelde, een zogenaamd hypotheek abonnement afgesloten en daar zit dat ook de belastingaangifte mee in. Ik stuur alles digitaal naar hen toe, krijg dat digitaal terug ter controle en dan is het wachten tot meneer Belastingdienst gaat betalen 😉 Het is je eigen geld wat je terug krijgt inderdaad, maar ik zie het als spaarpotje. Ik print dus helemaal niks en zo gaat het een stuk sneller. Alles wat ik voor de aangifte nodig heb, verzamel ik digitaal en wat eventueel niet digitaal is, scan ik in. Gaat allemaal in een mapje op de laptop en als het zover is, hoppa alles verzenden. Ik zeg, makkelijker kunnen we het niet maken 😂

Ieder jaar weer feest... ik doe mijn aangifte digitaal, ergens eind maart, dan zijn de fouten er uit gefilterd. Gaat vrij snel, en dan maar weer wachten op het oordeel, en bezwaar maken tegen box 3. Werken zullen ze, voor mijn geld 😉
