Tip 11: Make sure that daily life continues as much as possible for the child anyway
Paul, aged eight, hasn't been in the mood for a few weeks since his father died. It's that he has to go back to school, but beyond. Fortunately, from his mother, he only has to do what he feels like and that is nothing else. No playing with friends, no playing football, no swimming lessons, nothing more. Paul already turns down birthday parties regularly, he doesn't feel the need to have fun, he says. All he would want is peace and quiet.
