@Mirelle Rothengatter Well, come across something special in the Kruidvat. Well, not very special, but a necessary 'evil'. I have such a pot of peanut butter and bulbs and I know what. Just put a hook in the big birdhouse and attach it to it so I can hang anything on it.
But I'm still going to spice it up. I don't like colors. But that's something for the summer.

But still, I would like to emphasize that it is very important NOT to give the birds bread. Bread is not adapted to their needs, it contains too much salt and bread improvers, which makes them drink more often. From it swells, the breadcrumb can hinder the digestive tract quite a bit, and that's something we certainly don't want.
@Marc De Bisschop Of course, Ineke also warns about the breadcrumb. And that is certainly not going in large quantities;) Thank you for your concern, we are all thrifty on our little birds!โค๏ธ
I do have various types of bird food ready and for the moment also apple leftovers.
