What you're doing is totally irrelevant
But you have to do it!

I always have to think of this quote when I think of Obama.
Everything he built during his presidency was rapidly demolished by Trump.
And he could not but stand by.
Yet he had to become the first black president.
When I read this Ghandi wisdom around 30, something crackles in my head.
Because others have already done something, you don't have to stop or try!
It's a really bad excuse not to do something because it seems irrelevant.
Someone does something their way. In that 'way' all the ingrained characteristics of that person are taken into account.
Dogmas, traumas, character and everything that has influenced you to be who you are at that moment.
Like a large walking antenna that records things and passes them back (modified).
It's your journey. Your life so it will always look completely different when you do it.
It will not immediately improve or change the world.
It is completely irrelevant in the big picture. A drop on a glowing plate.
Still, it's important that you do. At least you're improving yourself.
(For this reason I want to drop drop drop on a glowing plate in an installation and show that the temperature changes.)
Another wisdom is in line with the above.
It is not clear to me whether this belongs to Gandi or the Dalai Lama:
