Work in progress, mixed media project
Do you recognize that sometimes you just want too much?. Have so many ideas, but time always moves so fast? I want to try out so much that sometimes I don't even know where to start and at the same time I can just sit and stare in front of my paper for a while, because I want to get started, but don't know what to make. That brain of mine can work pretty complicated at times.
Last summer I came across a nice project of 'I Want to Paint' on the Internet. A project that fits my needs, at least I thought. I would like to learn to work a little looser and I would make another big painting. A real “me” for the room. This project might be a fun exercise.
So after a long delay because it was summer, I got to work now, but wow, what is this different work. This feels a bit like being thrown into the deep end and completely lost control, but. what a fun creative process to get started with.

Working with collage technology, templates and acrylic ink is completely new to me, so I got to work with my newly acquired materials. First tearing in the beautiful paper. Then stick with wood glue. Is this really going to be a painting? A layer of acrylic paint over it. What templates and look, a special background is starting to take shape.

I know that you want to deal with everything, and sometimes just don't come out of it.
I found the background with the explicitly white Geisha best succeeded in the third and fourth sequels of your painting.
