Mooie slam! Goede reis en tot later vanuit Curacao! Yoors is oneindig leuk!

Fijne reis 🛫

Enjoy your trip. I am sure you are aware of this, but I think it's kind of prophetic how "Curaçao"= healing or "coração" means heart in Portuguese. Kind of the reason for you traveling up and down, to be with your "hearts people".
Good slam photo.

@Mónica Thanks!
Yes. I know the Curacao - ean language 'papiamentu' is a mixed language with portugese in the mix because it was a big hub during the historic slavery.

@Henkjan de Krijger Interesting! I must admit I had never heard of Curaçao until I joined Yoors and had to look it up on google maps. It isn't exactly around the corner from The Netherlands. ... Also interesting is how Dutch is mixed into it being so far from it.
In South Africa Afrikaans came from Dutch too, they just changed it over time, so sometimes I can understand what people on here write, other times it just becomes too complicated.
For example your surname here would be Kruger.
Or for your trip we would say. Veilig reis, geniet dit.

@Mónica Its a 10 hour flight - 8000 kms but a historical legacy from the colonial past. And my wife is born there @Tania Kross so our kids are from both worlds. People here at Curacao speak papiamentu and dutch ..

Goede reis en veilig terug komen.

@Albert van den Berg Dank. Ik doen maandje Cur. Maandje NL.
