Driving while code red/Rijden tijdens code rood

Past sunday, i had to drive home while they did advice to stay home, because of 'extreme weather'. (that's how they call winter here nowadays)
Sometimes you don't have much of a choice though. But when you adapt to the circumstances, you can drive pretty save. There isn't that much traffic of course. But yes, there is always a risk, it doesn't have to be your own fault. But i got home safely. To watch back the video feels so peaceful while i was very concentrated when i drove, of course. Afgelopen zondag moest ik naar huis met de auto, hoewel men adviseerde thuis te blijven vanwege 'extreem weer' (zo noemen ze tegenwoordig winterweer)
Tja, soms heb je niet veel keuze. Maar wanneer je je aanpast aan de omstandigheden, kun je redelijk veilig op pad. En natuurlijk was er niet veel verkeer. Natuurlijk is er altijd een risico en het hoeft niet eens altijd je eigen schuld te zijn. Maar ik ben veilig thuisgekomen. Nu ik de video terugkijk, voelt het zo vredig, terwijl het heel inspannend rijden was natuurlijk. Geniet van de video!
