A chance for Uncle Frits
It's a rare beautiful day and Uncle Frits and Aunt Coby gratefully take the opportunity to get some fresh air. It is a pity that personal contacts related to the whirling of viruses should be avoided as much as possible, and that, unfortunately, the garden tables of the terrace also have to remain empty. Fortunately, a homemade apple pie is waiting for their return home, and that makes up for a lot.
Their walk takes along lanes, alleys and shops, and often aunt stays for a while to press her nose against the window glass when she again perceives a beautiful and fashionable dress, pants or something like that. These are moments when Uncle Frits invariably looks at another side very intelligently, but his interest is not in clothing.
Then he saw him lying there, just in the window.
The second-hand shop must have been there for years, given the amount of dust collected behind the glass and on the products shown, and it is incomprehensible that it has escaped Uncle Frits until now. Of course, this delay must be made up immediately.
'One moment, Coby, 'he cries, 'I need to get in here.'
Fijn even te vernemen hoe het met hen gaat in deze tijd.
