Wow! It's hard to believe my last article on Yoors was posted over a month ago. They say time flies when you're having fun, but if you ask me time seems to fly regardless. It just flies, these days!
The truth is, I needed a break. Not from Yoors per se, but a general break from the constant pull of different commitments requiring my energy and focus. Offline life has been interesting lately, and also somewhat challenging. Nothing bad, just time and energy consuming. So I found myself retreating more and more to try to rest.
Well... if I am being honest, I also needed to take a small step back from my presence here at Yoors, specifically. Some time to regroup and reassess. It wasn't like I made a conscious decision to do that, but I know there was a reason for why it happened.
The platform has changed so much so fast recently that at times I began to feel a little dazed and confused, a little drained even. And some of the changes, I was unsure of. I found myself internally debating some points in which I felt there had been a departure from the initial model of Yoors.
The plan was always to come back. I just didn't know when. That's when @Nuno Neves and @Teresa Seia pointed out to me the first episode of the Yoors podcast with the wonder duo Henkjan and Babita. They said I should give it a listen, and so I did. I came back to Yoors earlier this morning and listened to the whole thing in one sitting, as I had breakfast. And I took notes! Don't believe me? See for yourself :)
So, there is a more in-depth post coming soon with my thoughts on the podcast and what was discussed there. For now, I'll simply say that it feels like this marks a turning point (a good one!) for the platform.
There are also other posts in the pipeline, because I feel refreshed and ready to hit the ground running. In the meantime, '"hi, Yoors friends". It's nice to be back!

I had such doubts as you mention (and an offline period) too and was also very glad to hear the podcast. It's a very good one and indeed worth listening to.
Looking forward to read what you'll write about it and of course to the other posts in the 'pipeline'!
But take my yoorsbreak by September now.
But have also learned, the keeper wins..
