The previous part:

What I thought today was, “I have to go shopping, I'm short of anything.”

Wrong! A mistake of thinking. You can think this when you have enough money, but even then it is not correct. A different approach works wonders; not looking at what you don't have but at what you do have! And that was 3 jars of young peas (I find a bit better than capuchin), onions, tomatoes that threatened to become overripe, cans of tomato paste and fish sticks (taken once when they were on sale)

Not all needs to be fresh; the peas are out of pot, supplemented with fresh vegetables.

The above ingredients are not expensive but tasty and healthy! Baking butter, garlic and salt I hadn't mentioned as ingredients yet, but that's pretty standard. Although this time I did not even add salt. And if anyone hates faint food... Apparently not necessary here.

So I still had this in the freezer and I really wanted it now! Maybe a little unusual combination, but I liked it. That's how everyone looks for himself what he likes. So this is for 2 days. In retrospect, I should have baked 3 of them and tomorrow 3 but good...

And this has become the main course, also for 2 days. Content: 3 onions (from such a net very cheap), 3 tomatoes, 1 can of tomato paste and 1 jar of field peas, capuchin are even cheaper but I find it a bit dry. In itself it could have been with the onion and tomato, the dish was anything but dry. The fish sticks can be omitted as the field peas serve in principle as a meat substitute, so then it is vegetarian.

This doesn't look bad, even if I say so myself!

Even though I'm not a kitchen prince, it was so done. Peel and cut the onions, wash and cut tomatoes, the vegetables from the jar in a colander and rinse with water and peel and squeeze the garlic. Then 2 frying pans; one for the main course and one for the fish sticks. The pans can be put on the fire with some butter at the same time. The fish sticks are prepared on the package and in the other pan add garlic and onions. When the onions become glassy, add the peas, tomato and tomato paste. In ten minutes everything is ready and eat appetizing!
