Needed:

  • coloured chalk
  • black paper
  • drawing paper to cut out templates
  • a pencil, lath and scissors
  • some newsprint to cover the table

Step 1: Draw simple silhouettes of buildings on the ordinary drawing paper.
Consider: an ordinary rectangle (apartment building), a pointed rectangle (church), a house with a triangular roof or a chimney, a staircase gable...
Vary some in shape and size.
Cut out the shapes.
