Yesterday it was a wonderful, summery day.

We went with the class, together with a number of volunteers who know a bit about it, to find life in the local pool.

The kids were really excited !

What did we find ?

wonderfully. The children learn about biodiversity, that we can't live without.👍
@Hans I do quite regularly, with the children in nature and discover for myself. That motivates so much more than looking into books.
This is so cool to see. I think I did this once, too. It's such a fun way to teach kids about nature 💚
@Julia 🌻 Doing and discovering yourself is always better !
What a wonderful experience to do this together with the children! It's really nice too, because there's so much to discover in the locks etc. 😍
@Mirelle - Crea met Kids surely ! Life in the local waters has increased again in recent years. And this is much more fun than showing those same animals on a digiboard in the classroom.

Very educational. I always liked that back in the day.
Woow, that takes quite a long time with a larva. Then these animals have a long age line. Most insects don't live long, I understood.
@Kinderworkshops Petra If they make it, because this larva will also be food for other animals, as long as it lives in the water.
what a great idea say and educational too.
@marijke I do this kind of thing with the class quite often. Exploring for yourself besides everything is so much more fun than in books.

It is indeed surprising how much life can take, we built a pond 3 years ago and now we have frogs, a path and a salamander.
@frieke Yes, aquatic life is recovering anyway. Ten years ago, we found less than we do today.
